Janielle
Krawczyk: Director of
Education/Television and Video Production Instructor
Janielle
is originally from Hudson Falls, NY. She earned a BA in
Radio/Television/Film from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY.
She also earned an MA in Television/Radio/Film from Syracuse
University. While at Syracuse University, she also served
as a teaching assistant for various television production
classes. She has experience in field and studio news
production with RNN-TV in Kingston, NY as well as field and
studio production experience with public broadcasting station
WMHT in Troy, NY. She was also the director/producer
and chief videographer/editor for the independent documentary: “Taking
Back the Hudson: The Fight For Our Stolen Future.” Janielle
is excited to help students capture the world around them and
become great storytellers. |

Kelly
O'Donnell: Sports Broadcasting Instructor
Kelly is a television sports
anchor and reporter for WRGB-TV, Albany’s local CBS affiliate.
Before joining CBS 6, he was an on-air sports personality at
WTVY-TV in Dothan, AL and GOLTV, an all-soccer television
network based out of Miami. He’s earned multiple Associated
Press awards for his local sports coverage.
A 2002 graduate of the Syracuse
University Newhouse School of Public Communications, he’s also
worked as a play-by-play announcer both in radio and on
television. Kelly feels blessed to be working at a job he loves,
and he enjoys teaching students that share a similar passion for
sports journalism.

Chris
Famelette: Television and Video Production Instructor
Chris
worked at WPTZ in Plattsburgh and now works for FOX23 News as
their satellite truck operator/photographer. He came from
SUNY Plattsburgh's PSTV program where he was the station manager
and produced Cardinal Sports, Cardinal Basketball, and Lights
Out. He also runs Stage Left Lighting with his father John
to bring live national concerts to the Hudson Valley. |

Jason
Keller: Radio Arts Instructor
Jason
is the Morning Drive Personality at WHRL/Channel 103.1 in
Albany, he also had the unique experience of helping to launch
that radio station in 1999. In 2006 he was offered
his own Talk Show on the legendary 810WGY.
While holding down two drive time shows, he was named to the
list of top 40 Under 40 leaders by Albany's Business
Review. You can also hear Jason's voice on
TV and Radio for various local and national commercials.
He holds a BA in Journalism with a Theater minor from
the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. |

Ronald
"Buzz" Brindle: Radio Arts Instructor
Ronald
E. “Buzz” Brindle has programmed a variety of formats:
Country, CHR, Adult Contemporary, Oldies, and Sports Talk
in New York, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Providence and Albany. During
the 10 year period from 1997 to 2007 when Buzz programmed WGNA,
Country 107.7FM ranked #1 among 25-54 adults for 31 of 38
ARBITRON monthly trends and was nominated five times by the
Country Music Association for its Medium Market Country Radio
Station of the Year award. In 1997, Buzz won the New York State
Broadcast Association award for New York State’s Medium Market
Personality of the Year.
Buzz has taught a course of about Radio Programming Perspectives
at New York University and served as faculty adviser for Siena
College’s WVCR-FM.

the first four years of its existence, Buzz was part of the
original management team at MTV: Music Television where he was

David
Tyo: Digital Recording Arts Curriculum Chair
Since the age
of twelve, David has had an unusual obsession with music
production. While his friends were outside playing during
summer break, David could be found inside his makeshift studio,
tinkering with cassette tapes and creating overdubs.
An avid
musician, David excelled in chorus and jazz band in high school
and college. His performances contributed to multiple
national awards for performance excellence.
With a decade
of experience producing imaging, segment intros, comedy bits,
custom music, and more for local and national radio, David
co-founded his advertising jingles company in 2008.
David also owns
and operates a project recording studio where he produces and
mixes music recordings for local clients. |

Chris
Conti: Digital Recording
Arts and Video Production Instructor
Chris has been involved in
video production for the last 15 years. He holds a BA in
speech communications from the State University of New York at
Oneonta and a certificate in Video Production from the NYU
school of continuing education. He worked at CBS 6 Albany
for 13 years where he served as chief editor and a features
photographer.
He worked on series such as the
original 30 Minute Meal with Rachel Ray, There's a
Story Everywhere with Dan DiNicola and most recently Take
a Break with Jerry Gretzinger. Chris earned an
Associated Press award in 2003 for a feature he worked on with
Mary Beth Wenger entitled the Fisher Kid.
After training new employees at
CBS6 for many years, he is happy to help students achieve their
creative potential.

Mike
Flynn: Radio
and Television Arts Instructor
Michael Flynn started in the
radio industry in 1986, just after graduating from The New
School of Radio and Television.
He has
worked on all sides of radio including Programming, News,
Production, Promotions and sales.
Michael brings experience from
several different formats as an On-Air Personality at many
Albany, NY stations including: FLY, STAR, B95, Z-ROCK, K100 and
The BUZZ.
